Isabelle "Tootsie" Fotenos, 88, went to be with her Jesus November--, 2010. Isabelle was born September 19, 1922 in Elton, La. She was a resident of The Perkins Community near DeQuincy, LA. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed tending the little ones for many years. As her name Isabelle means DEDICATED TO GOD, so she loved her Lord and lived as a witness to Him by serving others throughout her entire lifetime. Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Robert James Fotenos; parents, J.W.(Jake) Bertrand and Ludy Treme Bertrand; brothers, Alvin Bertrand, Sherman Bertrand, William S. Bertrand, J.W. (Junior) Bertrand, Huey (Tucker) Bertrand and Gene Bertrand. She is survived by a sister, Nettie Sue Walker of Philadelphia, MS, and a brother, D.L. Bertrand of Spokane, WA., and numerous nieces and nephews. Her home-going service will be Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 2p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Glenn George will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home Hixson-Snider Funeral Home Visitation will be Sunday, November 21 in the church from 12:30p.m. until time of service.
