Michael Terry Broxson

Born in Lake Charles, Michael lived in DeQuincy, he was a member of the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. He worked as a DCS Tech for the Westlake Group. He was a graduate of DeQuincy High School and McNeese State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology. He was a member of the McNeese Debate Team. He loved his children and family and introduced them to his love of technology and even gave his children I-Pads for their birthday. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.T. (Rena) Broxson. Survivors include his wife Suzann Broxson; parents, Terry and Jolene Broxson of DeQuincy; children, Matthew Broxson and Emily Kayte Broxson of DeQuincy; brother, Cory Broxson and wife Denise of DeQuincy; sister Alicia Guidry and husband David of DeQuincy; grandparents, Readis and Patsy Horn, and Edward and Paula Burnitt.

His funeral service will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, August, 23, 2013 in the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy with Rev. Wayne Neyland and Rev. T.D. Cardwell officiating. Burial will be in McFatter Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 22, from 5:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. and resume on Friday at 8:00a.m. until service time in the church. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
