N. E. "Buck" Soileau Sr.

DeQuincy - N.E. "Buck" Soileau, Sr. September 22, 1936, March 23, 2014

Buck Soileau, 77, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 23, 2014 in his home, surrounded by his family. Buck was born September 22, 1936 in Oakdale, La. to Joseph and Beulah Soileau. He was a faithful member of The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. In 1958, Buck became a member of Boilermakers Local #587 in Orange, Tx. He was a welder by trade.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Aline Smith Soileau; his daughter, Vicki Raven and husband Clyde; his son, Buddy Soileau and wife Alma; 2 grandsons, Hunter Soileau and Chase Red; granddaughter, Jaycee Red; sister, JoAnn Burgess; and several nieces and nephews all of DeQuincy. Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Beulah Soileau, granddaughter, Molly Burk and brother-in-law C.C. "Scratch" Burgess.

His funeral service will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy with Pastor Wayne Neyland officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
