Nadine Highsmith Berwick, 84, of Starks, LA, passed away on November 15, 2017 at the Meadows Nursing Home in Orange, TX. She was born to parents Oscar and Zettie Highsmith on May 14, 1933 in Honey Island, TX. Her greatest passion was childcare.
She is survived by her three sons, Leonard Berwick and wife Kelly of Starks, LA, Elton Berwick, Jr. and wife Deborah of Orange, TX, Ted Berwick of Orange, TX; two daughters, Rita Pard of Waco, TX, Lisa Stone and husband Jeff, of Shenyang, China; along with 8 grandchildren.
Nadine is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Elton Berwick, Sr.
Services will be held at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Starks on Saturday, November 18, 2017 with Bro. Ron Butler officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery.
