Tammy was born in Lake Charles and lived in Singer-DeQuincy area all her life. She was a member of Life Worship Pentecostal Church of Singer. She loved pit bulls, to shop, play softball, and fish when she was able. She ran Upchurch Grocery for many years. She was a good hearted and giving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Percy James Louviere; two sons, Casey Spears of Singer and Kenneth Spears and wife, Randi of DeQuincy; one grandchild, Lola Spears.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Leona Upchurch.
Her Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, November 5, in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy. The Rev. Alvin Dale Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 12noon-8:00pm Monday, November 4 and will resume Tuesday 9:00am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery.
