Virginia Johnson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at DeQuincy Care Center. She worked for Howard Snider for many years as a Dental Assistant. She was always doing things for other people and people loved her. She was always in attendance at church when she was able and attended DeQuincy Church of Christ. Most importantly, she loved her family.
She is survived by one son, John E. Johnson, III and wife Kathy of Atlanta, GA., a daughter Judy Johnson of Houston, Tx., and a granddaughter Lisa Dollar. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John E. Johnson, Jr., her parents Travis and Bessie Manning, a brother Travis Manning, Jr., and a sister Zula Ott.
Her services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held the same day starting at 1:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will be held at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
