Vicki I love watching you on the show and I respect you on so many levels. When I saw the episode about your mom I cried so hard, you were so close to your mom.

Hi Vicki and Billie. I am a fan of the Housewives and the episode of your Mom passing just aired. I feel compelled to send a note saying how sorry I am for your loss. I lost my Mom 7 years ago, I was on vacation in Mexico when my sister Lori called me with the news.....I know how you are feeling when you cant be there at the end....you feel helpless. I hardly remember the flight back to Vancouver, sobbing most of the way. Time does help, but there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of her........just remember all the good times. Your mom seemed like a real character and fun to be around just from the couple of minutes I saw her on the show. By the way Vicki keep being who you are in the show, you seem like a real down to earth women and I like that in people. Take Care to all of your family.

So sorry to hear about Joanne's passing from the Taft Newsletter. I knew her from Onahan Gradeschool & Taft HS. I had kept in touch with her many years thru a group of us ladies who met a few times a year & served on the HS Reunion Com with her. I watch the show all the time and have since its been on. I am so sorry about your mom. She was a funny lady! I lost my mom when I had just turned 13yrs and today I am 51. It gets easier as time goes on but her memories are with you always. Just remember she will always be your guardian angel. Sending prayers to you and your family.

Dear Vicki,I lost both my parents also I feel ur pain when I saw ur show on Mon... I know it will b hard for along time I also lost my only sister, which makes me a orphan,I thank God I have 2,kids n 6 wonderful grandkids n my life.. I hope through the yes that it will get better, memories piks anything that reminds u of her keep them close to ur heart,my sympathys to all ur family...

Billy I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of your moms passing you don't know me but I always like seeing you on the show with Vicki you guys always made me laugh I don't know if you lived with your mom but I thought you did cause you were so close I know it will be hard you where her baby boy she's smiling with your dad so just think of all the good times

Vicki and family I just saw on the show that your mom passed I felt so bad for you I loved when she'd be on the show especially when she told you your hair looked yellow she was so funny and cute just hang in there your mom is with your dad I'm sure their smiling

My Mother My Angel
Once upon a time an angel held my hand, 
she wiped away my tears and helped me understand. 
Our time on earth is brief, there's lessons to be learned, 
each precious day God gives us another page is turned. 
Every chapter full of memories, times of joy and tears, 
triumphs and defeats through every passing year. 
She loved us unconditional always by our side, 
when no one else would listen in her we could confide. 
With gentle words of wisdom she led us on our way, 
down the paths of righteousness if ever we did stray. 
She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets,

So sorry for the loss of a beautiful life.The loss of a Mother is one of the saddest ever.A Mothers love is unconditional and pure..My thoughts & prayers go out to you all.

I lost my mother several years ago. Memories, of my mom, keep her alive and I cherish them. I am happy to have had a wonderful mom who gave me all of those moments and advice in my life.  Your mom stays alive within you and you can share those memories with future generations.

So sorry for your loss Vicki. May your mom rest in peace.

May your beautiful light continue to shine through your offspring. See you in that far off sweet forever. Rest in peace.

Vicki and family, I am so so sorry for the loss of such a vibrant woman - your mom.  I can't imagine how you are all feeling.  Losing someone so suddenly that you love so deeply is never easy at age.  Nothing can replace a mom.  Remember to keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart.  I only wish words could help ease the pain.  Take one day at a time, one foot /one step at a time. My mom was also a Taft Eagle as well, graduating three years ahead of your mom.  I suppose in a strange way we have a shared connection with our moms.  I would like to think possibly our moms knew each other in HS.  I will keep your family in thought and prayers.  May your sweet mom rest peacefully in the arms of your dad, and may God continue to give you peace and comfort each day.

Wow, what a shock when Vicki called me to tell me about Joanne.  My deepest sympathies to all of the family.  Joanne and I go back all the way to Kindergarten at Onahan Grade School in Norwood Park with Mrs. Hannaman as our teacher. We did a lot of activities together, biking, playing tennis, movies and sleepovers.  A true and great friend always.  Just recently we had been in contact with each other over the phone, trying to catch up on each other and our families. We both loved to play bridge and talked a lot about how often we played and what fun it was.  It was such a shock to hear of her untimely death but she is now reunited with her husband Bill.  My children all send their sympathies also.  Joan and Don Schroeder

There are no words that can say how bad I feel.  I am devastated .  I don't know when it will sink in. How many times I would be at home in Mchenry and there she would be in front of my house with Maggie. And before that  with Sheba. And the years past when we were younger playing Yatzee! So many memories. I remember a gold  beaded dress she wore to a party .  She looked like a mermaid  beautiful. And what a personality!  And what a jest for life. It doesn't seem possible that this has happened.  My  parents are gone Billy is gone and now she is gone. They are now together. I will miss her forever. I am sorry for her whole family's loss.  She was a wonderful cousin and more importantly a wonderful person.

We share the heartache the family is going through at this time.  We loved Joanne dearly and enjoyed being with her during our visits to Lisa & Terry and our grandchildren.  She brought   us so much joy and happiness just being with her.  She will be truly missed.  We will cherish our thirty years of sincere friendship.  To the family, you can be so proud to have had a loving and caring Mother.  You too, will cherish her memory always.

Kirk and I have only known Joanne for a short time as her neighbor. We loved talking with her when we had a chance. She was very kind we enjoyed maggie too.We send our condolences to her family. She will be missed. Kathie and Kirk
