Haley, a dedicated student at Grand Valley State University, aspired to follow the noble path of nursing, mirroring the footsteps of her beloved mother, Tamesha; her grandma, Mary; and her Sito (grandma), Jamie. A 2022 graduate of DeWitt High School, Haley's academic brilliance shone brightly through her ability to craft evocative and insightful essays.
Haley's heart was infused with a selfless desire to bring joy to others. Her connection with her sister, Charleigh, was a tapestry of unparalleled love and understanding. Their bond was deep and indescribable.

She shared the dream of traversing every state with her dad, Steven. Family adventures to Disney and blissful days on Lake Michigan's shores held a special place in Haley's heart. Haley also traveled to Europe, relishing the new experiences each trip provided.

As we bid farewell to this luminous spirit, let us find solace in the enduring words of Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me all who are weary and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” and Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
May Haley's soul find eternal peace guided by these comforting verses.
