

Karen was very active in the DeWitt community. She was a longtime member of the Lioness Club and director of the DeWitt Memorial Board. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood, director of Arts and Crafts for the DeWitt Ox Roast, and volunteer speaker for Eversight Michigan (Michigan Eye Bank).
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Colleen Lucas and Brian Moore.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, James E. Kraft; daughter, Kim Guimaraes; son, Jim (Kerrie) Kraft; son, Ken (Connie) Kraft; daughter, Keri (Brian) Morris; grandchildren, Cory, Jessica, Kayla, Samantha, Caitlin, and Emily; and nieces and nephews, Nate, Alex and Laura.
A funeral service will be held February 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt with Rev. Fred Nose officiating.
The family will receive visitors on February 10, 2016 from 2-4 pm and from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
