Larry Fitzpatrick

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years in agricultural research at Michigan State University and was a member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Marlene (Fox) Fitzpatrick; his parents; and sister, Margie Smith.

Left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Jill (Paul) DeLiso; son, Todd (Jamie) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Trevor Murphy, and Dana and Ben DeLiso; brothers, James Fitzpatrick, Gayle (Marilyn) Fitzpatrick; and sister, Ellen (Jim) Heckman.

A Funeral Service will be held December 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St., DeWitt, Michigan, with visitation for friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Robert Irish will officiate. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing, with a graveside service at 1:30 pm. The family will also receive visitors on December 22, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm.

Memorial contributions in honor of Larry may be made to the Catholic Community of St. Jude.
