Laura Ann (Riggs) McCarty age 53 of Lansing Michigan. Laura was born January 26th 1968 to Richard and Bonnie Riggs. The Lord took Laura home October 5th 2021. Laura graduated from Bath schools and has 2 children. Emily and Bradley McCarty. Laura has 1 granddaughter Alicia, which she loved spending time with.
Laura was full of venture and life. Laura loved camping, fishing and spending time with her many animals. Laura was a animal lover at heart. She also had a great sense of humor and loved Halloween.
Laura is survived by her boyfriend Daryl and her father Richard Riggs, 3 sisters, Jeannette/ Donald Sulcer, Sonya Riggs , Julie Riggs and one brother Scott/ Kathy Riggs. Also by her son Bradley, daughter Emily and granddaughter Alicia. Laura has many nieces and nephews.
Laura loved life and will be missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home DeWitt. Pastor Harold DeMott will officiate. Interment to follow at Rose Cemetery, Bath Michigan. Visitation will be held from 11-1 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions in Laura's honor may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
