Jordan I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, I remember going to the offices downtown, to conventions and also the trip to Georgia. She was a wonderful woman and I'm grateful I had the chance to know her.

I was lucky to have worked with Leri at Macy's. She was a constant source of level-headedness and upbeat humor. She made the job fun. She will be missed.

She had such a green thumb and brought the most beautiful bouquets to work from her garden for everyone to enjoy.  She touched so many lives; she is going to be greatly missed.

Dear Jordan, Scot, Kelley & Jamie,  I had Leri as a student in my Spanish class and as one of the members of the class of 1974 for which I was a class Adviser.  She was a good student and great fun as a member of her class.  I have thought of her often whenever I used to pass her Grandparents's house/farm on Holt Rd.(before it was torn down) where we had the class float one year. I am so very sorry for your loss. Years have gone by since I have seen Leri. Seeing her beautiful face however has brought back many wonderful memories. Her smile, her giving heart, and her great personality are just a small piece of what Leri was back in High School. Her family and friends, then and now, are blessed to have known her. Dear Kelley and family - I am so sorry and so very saddened to hear of Leri's passing. Several years after graduating from Alma College together in 1978, I ran into Leri at the Treasury Department when I was a state employee. We were able to pick up as though we had seen each other just the day before. Our paths crossed again a few years later, yet you would have thought it was just the next day. I will so miss her optimism and "bubbly" sense of humor, and the possibility of running into each other again. My prayers and sympathy are with you and your family at this difficult time.

I haven't seen Leri in nearly 38 years, but remember vividly her wicked sense of humor, her intelligence, and what joy she brought to everyone in our high school class. She will be forever missed.

Leri was our next door neighbor and it was always a pleasure to see her every morning before we left for work.  She was the kind of neighbor and person who made you feel lucky just to be around her. My dear sister Leri was a wise girl and woman, a wonderful mother, and a wisecracker.  Throughout all the years we worked and lived abroad, we regularly came home to Michigan and visited Aunt Leri.  We have a series of bi-annual pictures of Tyler, Joel, Jordan, and Jeffrey over the years that we cherish -- always taken in Leri's front yard. We were very sorry to hear that you lost your mom. We only met her the one time when we went to Cedar Point, but she was a very nice lady.
