

Lillie Test, born December 23, 1922 to Harrison and Sarah (Evans) Hunter, passed away October 28, 2014 at the age of 91. Lillie loved her family very much. A living example of unconditional love, grace and honor, she taught us the importance of family. Her legacy of love lives on in each of us. Lillie blessed the lives of all those she touched. She will be greatly missed. A long-time member of Bath Baptist Church, she also attended New Covenant Church and served as librarian. Her final place of worship was Journey Life Church in Holt. Mrs. Test was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Test Sr.; sons, Glenn Test and Alvin R. Test, Jr.; daughter, Sandy Winston; daughter-in-law, Sandy (Warner) Test; sons-in-law, Dana Castonguay and Dale Winston. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Jean Womack, June Castonguay, Roberta (Peter) Myers, Thomas Test, and Larry Test; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Marx, Amy (Steven) Eiben, Sara (Drew) Watros, Richard Test, Lauryn (Tim) Pendergrass, Matt (Kara) Womack, Courtney Womack, Alex Womack, Abby Castonguay, Jackson Myers and Norah Myers. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Brian Henley of Journey Life Church, will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington in DeWitt. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of their choice in memory of Lillie Test. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel.
