Lorraine Frances Scarane passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on March 23, 1935, Helgo and Emma Rasmussen. Lorraine served in the United States Air Force where she met her husband, Joseph Scarane. They were married on November 26, 1955 at March Air Force Base.
Lorraine was an avid reader, enjoyed watching western movies, and loved baking. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and her gentle demeanor. Lorraine was a humble person who loved everyone and had a strong Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Scarane; children, Joseph Jr (Susan) Scarane, Kathleen (Bill) Evans, Janet Paige, Lois Scarane, and Jean (Scott) Sillman; grandchildren, Brad Evans, Brendan Evans, Marshall Evans, Matthew Scarane, and Kristin Scarane; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Evans, Clara Evans, Blake Evans, Lily Evans, Oliver Scarane, Audrey Scarane, and Violet Evans.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
