Rex Allen Sevenski

Rex Allen Sevenski, age 59, of Dewitt, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Rex was born October 3, 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter "Moses" and Elaine "Skeeter" Sevenski; brothers, Walter and Rickard. Surviving are his wife, Suzie; daughters, Ashley Sevenski and Abigail (Terrance) Evans; sisters, Lynn (Paul) Smith and Melody (Kevin) Cook; brothers, Wesley Sevenski and David Sevenski; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Dominic Cooley, Charleigh Sevenski, Liam and Cash Evans; many nieces, nephews and adopteds.

Rex loved his big family and the community of South Riley and spent the majority of his time sitting on his porch with friends and neighbors, listening to music, and watching the Lions. He enjoyed Sundays with his family and watching his grandkids play in the yard. Rex spent most of his career as a licensed plumber. He will be remembered for his funny, outgoing personality and willingness to help others.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel. Interment will follow at South Riley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service. Rex would prefer that everyone come dressed casual and comfortable in his honor.

Following the interment, Classic Pub will welcome friends and family of Rex for a Celebration of Life party at Classic Pub at 16219 N. US 27, Lansing, MI 48906.
