Roger Carl Theodorski

Roger married Betty Lou Theodorski on February 9, 1957, and they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage.

A devoted father, Roger raised three children with Betty: Paula Ostrander, Brady Theodorski, and Brian Theodorski. He was especially devoted to caring for and providing his handicapped son, Brian, the best life possible.

Roger was an avid fisherman who loved time on the water at the cottage he and Betty shared at Houghton Lake. One year, he made it his mission to catch 1,000 walleye—catching them, recording each one in his journal, and returning them to the lake. He reached his goal and caught all 1,000.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Minnie Theodorski, and his son-in-law, Ed Ostrander.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Theodorski; his children, Paula Ostrander, Brady Theodorski, and Brian Theodorski; his five grandchildren, Rachael, Renee, Zachary, Caitlin, and Derek; and his five great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Griffin, Graem, Bryson, and Camryn.

A private family service will be held at a later time to honor Roger.
