Ronda Lynn Yarsevich

Ronda Lynn Yarsevich (Allen), age 68, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Lansing. She was born on December 15, 1954, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to the late Dale and Dorine Allen. Ronda graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, which is where she met her beloved husband Ronald. The two were later married on August 24, 1974 at St. Therese Church in Lansing, Michigan.

Ronda was a beloved wife of 49 years to Ronald Yarsevich and a cherished sister to Denise (Thomas) Gregory. She is survived by her loving sons, Dale (Shannon) Yarsevich and Michael Yarsevich, as well as her grandchildren Tyler Yarsevich and Sarah Lower, and great-grandchild Niloh Diaz.

Ronda was a fun-loving and cheerful individual who was always a joy to be around. She was a faithful friend, known for her kindness and compassion. Ronda had a passion for crochet, and you could easily find her watching her forensic drama TV shows at home, but animals, particularly the veterinary world held a special place in her heart.

In her professional life, Ronda had a successful career as a miniature schnauzer breeder and trainer for 32 years. She also owned Liberty Farms Horse Farm in Grand Ledge, where she raised and trained horses and enjoyed trail rides whenever time allowed. Notably, Ronda completed the Shore to Shore trail across Michigan in the 90’s. Additionally, she dedicated 19 years of her life as a 4H leader, positively impacting the lives of many young individuals. Ronda's caring nature led her to become an ordained minister and a life counselor, offering guidance and support to those in need.

Ronda Lynn Yarsevich will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy of kindness and love will forever remain in our hearts.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home (DeWitt Chapel), 205 E. Washington St., Saturday, Nov. 25 from 12-3 p.m. Open mic sharing will begin at 1 p.m.
