i might have saw him in the halls, i didnt know him at all. but im sure he was a amazing student... 

Extremely sorry to learn of your loss of Sam. I've heard how awesome of a young man he was. My Children attend school, worked out with him  in the weight room and think fondly of him. My prayers and thoughts continue for this family, during a tragic loss time. Take care and know God loves you and will hold you in his arms. God Speed in going through this tragic transition for the Family! Prayers for all who knew and cared for Sam! God Bless all of you.

He was such a precious Child. Denese and i were honored to have known him for a very long time. He was such a great  kid,we loved him for all he was. He was a visitor in Our little home and it didnt take him long to beat me at every video game we had. Prayers to The Holland and Miller Familes who i have known since my Childhood .

We live near S & J and love everyone there. The owners are long time friends of our family.  Sam would be there some days when I would came in and he always had a smile on his face. He would join in on conversations and was so polite and sweet.  He was so kind and had such a calming presence. My heart just aches for his family . I pray for strength for them at this time. 
May Sam rest in peace. 

Sam was a very loving , kind,smart,and strong person I got really attached to him even though we had only dated for a month before he passed we got really close to each other. When I found out from Sam's older brother that he had passed all I could do was  cry. I can not stop thinking about him and how he could make my day no matter what his smile always made me smile.  I will never for get him and I will always love him. I dont know his family but my prays go out to his family and I'm sorry it had to happen to him. 

A saying for him: Only the good die young 

Sam was always so positive and thoughtful. When Sam walked into the room his smile would give off a positive atmosphere. If I ever had a bad day at school and Sam walked into the room my anger or frustration would go away, that’s how positive Sam was.  Even though I didn’t know sams family I still want to wish you my condolences. If sam were still with us today I would try to get to know him more. let’s have sams legacy live on. It’s what Sam would’ve wanted. You will be missed but never forgotten. Rest well Sam.

I first met Sam when he started Scott School. Such a sweet boy and just had a terrific smile.  I had seen Mrs Miller recently, and asked how Sam was doing because as soon as I saw her I had thought of him and his sister. 
I was very saddened to hear of his passing. 
I hold the family in my heart as they travel through this very difficult time. 
I send my blessings to them.

Sam was a very understanding and caring person. Whenever he stepped into a room he also made everyone smile and he is missed dearly and I send my prayers to his family and rest easy Sam and we will keep your legacy and memories alive.

Sam was in fourth grade when I met him when I was his teacher.  Sam had a compassionate, gentle soul.  His smile and bright eyes could melt my heart.  I will miss his kindness and his courteous nature.  My he rest in peace, and may his family find strength through their memories.  

Every time I walked into the store and Sam was there, he said "hello" to me. Every. Time. He was 100% sweet and respectful in each of our many encounters. He would even participate in conversations at the cash register when we got to talking about games, dances, classes, and school in general...even though he probably felt embarassed about some of the subject matter, like any teen would; he just smiled and went along with it. Things will never be the same without him. Rest in paradise young Sam. Prayers and sweet thoughts to all of your fabulous family. 

Sam was in my preschool class. I will always remember his sweet smile and kind heart. My heart is heavy for him and his family.  May the wonderful memories of Sam sustain you during this difficult time.

Sam Miller was one of the best people to talk to in choir class. I sat next to him everyday and he brought his smile to class everyday. The laughs and joy he brought to class everyday will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Sam. 

Sam was in 1 class of mine, and every day he had a smile on his face. He always liked to joke and make people laugh in class. I did not know him well at first but then we started talking more and i realized he was such an understanding, comforting person that you could feel comfortable talking to and you wouldn’t feel judged. Sam and The Miller family are repeatedly in my thoughts and prayers.❤️

I enjoyed having Sam in my homeroom for 6th grade.  He always came in with a smile and
gave 100% in all that he did.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I never had the pleasure of meeting Sam, but my son had classes with him.  My heart aches for you.  I just want you all to know I am praying for you at this very difficult time.  

I did not have Sam in a lot of my classes, nor did I know him that well.. But everyday that I saw him either in the hallways or in the classroom, he always had this smile on his face, He was usually quiet but a SUPER nice kid. I never really got to know Sam that well. While I attended DeWitt, we had a couple classes together and maybe a couple projects. He seemed like a pretty quiet kid. Thoughts and prayers sent to Allison and here family. R.I.P. Sam

I’ve known sam sense 6th grade. He was pretty quiet and shy most of the time. We were partners just last week and he seemed like a happy guy.  Prayers to the Millers. Rest easy Sam Miller.

Even though I haven’t known Sam long he was always an amazing person to be around during practice. While bowling he’d always try to keep everyone laughing and to make sure everyone had a good time. We may have only talked or hung out during practice but I will cherish those moments forever. You will be missed Sam. Rest In Peace buddy.

I’ve known Sam for a few years, not well, but he was in a few of my classes throughout the years. He was usually pretty quiet. He would tell jokes and just be a really nice, genuine person. I found him easy to talk to and get along with, the few times we did speak. His passing has not only affected me, but my parents as well . My family mourns deeply for your loss and we wish the Miller family well. We are in deep sorrow for the loss of Sam. Rest easy. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I’ve known Sam and the Miller’s since preschool. Sam was always that person who was smiling and laughing and you would never catch in a down mood. When I heard the news I was utterly shocked. Jaw dropped, I instantly wished that I would’ve gotten closer with him in the time he had left. Rest in peace Sam.

I didn’t know Sam that well. I’ve had classes with him all through my years at DeWitt. He was always a more quiet person who kept to himself for the most part. But I do always remember him making teachers and the people around him smile and laugh, and that will always stick with me. I hope you are happy and at peace now Sam. Rest easy. 

I didn't know sam much, he wasn't really talkative, but I still enjoyed my time with him, me him and some others spent an entire day of the ox roast just hanging out and having fun, after that day, I knew he had one of the best smiles I have ever seen. Even tho that I didn't genuinely know him, I know that he was a great person with amazing potential.. He sat in the same hallway in lunch as me, and he was energetic and something just screamed positivity from him, me and him would would have a laugh or two each day, and when I found out that he is no longer here, i just thought that I wouldn't be able to see his amazing smile ever again.

I was not close to Sam but me and him got along very well he had the best jokes in class and always had a smile on his face

Sam was an amazing person.  He was dedicated in everything he did.  He wasn't very talkative.  But from is expressions I could tell what was going on in his head.  During English one day, I tried to talk to him.   But he just backed away as if he thought someone would call him weird or something of that matter.   I knew Sam.  And he was weird.  But he was weird in the best possible way.  Sam will be missed the the class of 2022 and in the DeWitt community for life time.  Thank you Sam.  You will be missed 

I didn’t get very close to Sam and didn’t get to know him, but he seemed like such a nice guy. I just want to thank Sam for the smiles he put on people's faces. Rest Easy Sam.

I will never forget Sam Miller. When I met him as a sweet child in my kindergarten class.   Always kind and friendly. 

As the years went by, I would often see Sam with his family at the school band concerts. As always, he and his family would come and say hello. He was always smiling and willing to talk with his old kindergarten teacher.  

I’m so so sad and send all my love to Marge and Allison, and the entire family.  

I am without words and so heart broken.

On Friday at school he seemed okay. We didn't talk a lot and weren't close, but he told a joke in class and it made me laugh and others.  This happened so sudden and wish I could say goodbye. R.I.P Sam.

He was a great kid.  I talked to him on Friday and he seemed fine. We talked about my favorite tv show.  He was one of my good friends. He would always listen to me if I had a problem and I would listen to him if he had a problem. I have cried all day. Sam I will miss you so much.
