Tom served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired as an Electrician with the Lansing Board of Water and Light after 34 years with them. Tom was a life member of the NRA, a life member of the Clinton County Mounted Division and a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He was very proud to be a part of those groups. Tom was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Nelson, his son, Greg Nelson and his grandchildren, Jessica Nelson, Mitzi Nelson and Kyle Nelson. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bradley Nelson.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in the Spring.
