Tommy was born February 23, 1951 in Haskell, TX to Thomas and Opal (Solomon) Stryker. Tommy had lived in Rule, TX all of his life until he moved to DeWitt, MI in August, 2021 to be near family. He was a resident of Serene Gardens of DeWitt Assisted Living Facility.
Tommy graduated from Rule High School in 1969. His primary profession was farming, but he also worked in the oilfields for a number of years. He had a custom welding unit that he pulled around doing various welding jobs for many people in the area. He had a two-story pole barn that had just about any tool in it that you could imagine. It was often said that, “If Tommy Stryker didn’t have, it didn’t exist.” He loved fishing and hunting and he was quite a gun collector.
