

Albin Joseph Zeringue, a retired Ascension Parish Bus Driver and Farmer, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was 95, a native and resident of Modeste, LA. Albin was an Army Sergeant and a veteran of WW II. He was a member of St. Francis Church where he served as an Usher and was in the St. Francis Men’s Club. Albin also belonged to the VFW and the American Legion Post 98. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Templet Zeringue; daughters, Linda Bellina (Eddie), Gail Bourg (Bruce) and Faye Morris (William); son, Jeffery Zeringue (Patricia Roger Zeringue); and four grandchildren, Scott Bellina (Kayla Oubre Bellina), Matthew Morris, Timothy Morris, and Brian Bourg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Victor and Odelia Larroze Zeringue; sisters, Zeolide and Alice; and brothers, Antoine, Jules, and Louis. Visiting will be at St. Francis Catholic Church, Smoke Bend on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
