

Brenda Ann Costanza Collins, 72, native of Napoleonville and resident of Plattenville, died on Friday, December 20, 2013. She was a graduate of Assumption High School. She received a B.S. and a Masters + 30 from Nicholls State University. She taught for 23 years in Assumption and Ascension Parishes and retired from Donaldsonville High School. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who opened her heart to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Clifton P. Collins, Sr.; two daughters, Cindy Cancienne and Mary Beth Cancienne; two sons, Reid Cancienne, Jr., and wife Ha and Craig Cancienne; three grandchildren; Thomas Maxwell, William, and Nia; four stepsons; 15 stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreatgrandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Vincent Sotile and Mary and Michael Wood; and two brothers, Tommy Costanza and Johnny Costanza and wife Vicky.
Preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas D. and Alma Delaune Costanza and brother, Albert Costanza.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until Religious Service at 11:00 a.m. at Community Worship Center, 6688 Highway 70N, Plattenville, 70393. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Plattenville. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
