

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She took pride in being a protective grandmother to her grandchildren she was devoted to her family. She will be missed by all who loved her. Ms. Brenda loved the simple life. She loved to cook, fish, hang her clothes on her clothes line, picking pecans and fresh fruit off her parent's fruit trees, laugh and tell stories with those close to her. She will be truly missed by those who love her.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Dean "D.J." Hue, Jr., Carmen and Cameron Hue; great-granddaughter, Liberty Perkins; sister, Sharon Hood (Mack); sister-in-law, Judy Hidalgo; two nieces and three nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Charles Hidalgo; husband, Edward Hue; son, Dean Hue, Sr.; and brother, Gary Hidalgo.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00am, St. Jules Catholic Cemetery in Belle Rose, LA.
