Edgar J. Waguespack a native and resident of Donaldsonville passed away Friday April 4, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 83. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and was a graduate of L.S.U. School of Engineering. He was a gentle and compassionate man. He loved numbers, astronomy, classical music and cats.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 8, 2014, 11:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Yi celebrant. Entombment will be in Ascension of Our Lord Mausoleum, under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville.
Survivors include his sister; Marjorie Waguespack and husband Wilson; 4 nieces; Marian Waguespack, Donna Donato, Sandy Player and Cindy Hoover.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar Anthony Waguespack and Emma Landry Waguespack
