Emma Beene Capone

Emma Beene Capone, affectionately known as "Mama 2", age 88, a native of Springtown Texas and resident of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Emma was born on September 30, 1933.

Emma was an extremely loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was very passionate about the Lord and a proud member of First Baptist Church in Donaldsonville and Napoleonville. Emma enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat, playing cards, dressing up and shopping. She was a very giving woman who gave to the less fortunate and was very passionate about her political affiliations. Anyone and everyone who came in contact with Emma, adored her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children, Cynthia C. Guidry (Larry), Carl L. Capone, Jr. (Angela), Karen C. Kliebert (Andrew), and Melinda C. Noel (Frank "Chip"); seven grandchildren, Justin Mullenax, Lance Mullenax, Clint Capone, Kristin Cummins, Natalie Noel, Victoria Albarez, and Frank "Chipper" Noel; twelve great grandchildren, Gabriella, Annabell, Emma, Wes, Xander, Brady, LillyRose, Everett, Emerson, Maverick, Palmer, and Ella; one sister, Janiece Laws; two step sisters, Peggy and Peba, and a niece, Kim Beddow Sevier.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Capone, Sr.; her father, Jack Beene and her mother, Joycie and step father, Earl Young and two step sisters, Wanda and Margie.

Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 9am until Service at 11am. Conducting the Service will be Pastor Tony Thibodeaux. Interment to follow in the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Mausoleum.
