

Geraldine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a caretaker who always made sure everyone else's needs were taking care of before her own. Geraldine liked to make sure things were neat and in order. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done and was known for her famous spaghetti gravy which was made from scratch.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, John W. Capone, Jr. (Laverne), Sue Ann Latino (Frank), and Mark A. Capone, Sr. (Alison); nine grandchildren, John W. Capone, III, Adriane M. Capone Blank, Felicia A. Capone, Kim Latino, David Latino, Kaili Capone Broussard, Olivia Capone, and Linsey Capone; thirteen great grandchildren, and one sister Rosemary Milano Smith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Capone, Sr.; one daughter, Janell G. Capone; one grandson, Mark A. Capone, Jr.; her parents, Leo and Emily Milano and her three siblings, Cleo Milano, Leo Milano, and Lynn Milano.
The family would like to thank, Bayou Home Health, Chateau D'ville Nursing Home, and Cardinal Hospice. A special thanks goes out to her granddaughter, Kim Latino and her nurse Ashley Kocke for taking excellent care of her.
A memorial will held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church on August 22, 2022 from 10am until Mass at 11am with interment to follow in the church Mausoleum.
