Geraldine Caruso Hunt

Geri (Caruso) Hunt a native of Effie, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA returned to God’s Grace Friday, September 11, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling the U.S. from coast to coast with her devoted husband of 24 years Charles. She especially loved visiting with her family sitting in her backyard which was a beautiful haven for her plants, flowers, vegetable garden and the many birds that stopped in for a break while traveling through. This strong, independent, sassy lady will be missed dearly by many.

Visitation is Wednesday September 16, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located in Donaldsonville

from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Interment held privately at a later date.

Geri is survived by her husband, Charles Hunt; her children, Darlene Falcon and spouse, Chuck,

Cathy Blanchard and spouse, Rudy, Jo Ann Noel and spouse, Dwayne, Mike “Bro” Caruso and spouse, Brenda, Melissa Giroir and spouse, Rocky, her “Baby Girl” Mindy Caruso, Cathy Jennings and spouse, Tyler; her grandchildren, Amy Falcon, Chad Falcon, Brad Guillot, Cody Blanchard, Kim Waguespack, Jamee Grace Rogers, Trey Caruso, Beau Caruso, Breck Schexnayder, Emily Caruso, Alyssa McVicker, Cali McVicker, Chase Gomez, Kimberly Jennings, and her great grandchildren, Eli and Emma Falcon, Sevrin and Aiden Guillot, Jacee and Mason Diez, Reed and Elaina Waguespack, Harleigh Horn, and Anniston Kate Caruso; her sisters, Bobbie Morgan, Marie Gomez, and Brenda Smith.

She is preceded in death by her late husband of 36 years, Joseph Caruso, Sr.; her parents, William and Vicky Smith; brothers, Bill Jr, Willbert Lee, and J.L. Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to American Cancer Society.
