Jonathan’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile, small fingers, and baby soft skin brought so much joy to our family. Although he was so frail, he gave us such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. He loved Mickey Mouse, Puppy Dog Pals, taking walks, playing peek-a-boo, getting/giving kisses, cuddles, taking baths, and watching Street Outlaws with Daddy. He could spend hours sitting in his favorite chair or on his mat while cuddling close to those he loved so much. Jonathan touched everyone’s heart near and far. Jonathan is survived by his loving parents, Joshua Sr., and Devin Neal; his loving “Bubbie” he loved so much, Joshua Jr.; numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. His visitation will be on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 11 am until services at 2 pm. Entombment to follow in the Ascension Catholic Church Mausoleum, Donaldsonville. We want to extend a special thanks to Jonathan’s medical staff, therapists, organizations, foundations, family and friends for all their care and support.
