

Joey is survived by his wife, Linda Templet Hayden; sisters, Cynthia Hayden Anderson (Abe P. Abide) and Dianne Hayden Antwine (Pete); in-laws, Janice Templet, Raymond Templet (Margaret), Jeannette Beck (John) and Gayle Castagnos (JB); Godchild, Bradley Beck; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Sweet, John Leze’s family and Frank Rubi family.
Joey was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hayden, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Delnon P. Templet, Jr. and David Anderson, Sr.
Joey was a Navy veteran. He had a Masters +30. He loved to read, listen to music and fish.
Visitation will be held at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9am – 11am. Mass will be at 11am on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Ascension Catholic Church. Burial will be in Ascension of our Lord Mausoleum.
A special “Thank You” to Mrs. Eloise Jarvis, his caregiver, the staff at Prevost Memorial Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for the care that was given to Joey.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Ascension Catholic School.
