Leonard Naquin

Leonard Joseph Naquin, 66, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and avid fisherman, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010. Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carolyn Callegan Naquin; one daughter and son-in-law Gerald Jr. and Christy Jacobs; one son and daughter-in-law Darrin and Dawn Melancon Naquin; four grandchildren Madeleine and Natalie Naquin, and Cody and Sadie Jacobs; one sister and a brother-in-law Mary Ann and Everette Rivere; two sisters-in-law Lois Naquin and Betty Naquin. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Alberta Falcon Naquin; son Devin Michael Naquin; five brothers and two sisters-in-law Clarence Naquin, James and Dorothy Naquin, Steven Naquin, Russell Naquin Sr., Thomas and Nancy Naquin. He was retired from J. Ray McDermott, Inc. after 40 years of service.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, and on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville from 9:00 a.m. till Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in church mausoleum.
