Marie "Ninie" Mistretta Pizzolato

Marie “Ninie” Mistretta Pizzolato, 85, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She is survived by her four daughters, Mary Calvaruso and husband Vic, Regina “Jeannie” Pizzolato, Marilyn Landry and husband, Dale, Marie “Toni” Marroy and husband, Allen; three sisters, Betty Poirrier, Cathy Tipton, Chris Calraruso; one brother, G.J. “Bucky” Mistretta; nine grandchildren, Stacy Andell, Victoria La Croix, Jason Bagala, Nick Bagala, D.J. Landry, Derek Landry, Tyler Marroy, Jake Marroy, and Zachary Marroy; 10 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Kocke” Pizzolato; parents, Amalia Cannon Mistretta and G.J. “Tano” Mistretta; one brother, Bernard Mistretta. Pallbearers will be: D.J. Landry, Derek Landry, Jason Bagala, Nick Bagala, Tyler Marroy, Jake Marroy, and Zachary Marroy. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care, Charlene, Nila, Shironica, Pat, Rose, and numerous family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville conducted by Rev. Paul Yi.
