

Mary was a devoted Catholic and cherished her faith. The rock of our family, Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. Mary loved to cook and serve her church, family and friends. Mary was a proud member of the Ladies Altar Society. Mary leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Mary and husband, Albert Cote Jr.; three sons, Nicky and wife, Cindy Hidalgo, Jimmy and wife, Denise Hidalgo and Don and wife, Mel Hidalgo; nine grandchildren, Lesly, Nicole, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Shelly, Jimmy Jr. “Cooter”, Joy, Jem and Don Jr.; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice “Tut” Breaux and Allie “Babe” Theriot. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hidalgo Sr.;one son, George “Doc” Hidalgo Jr.; parents, Nicholas and Marie LeBlanc; three sisters, Lydia, Louise and Elise and four brothers, August, Eddie, Oneal and James. The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday, April 25th from 6pm to 9pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and again on Wednesday, April 26th at St Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Officiating the services will be the Reverend Matthew Graham and Deacon James “Chuck” LeBlanc.
