Nancy Nell Richard Mabile

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday, August 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Pierre Mabile Jr.; 3 children, Heidi L. Mabile, Brady P. Mabile (Kiedi), and Paige M. Zittrauer (Adam); 6 grandchildren, Gabbie and Mason Klack, Amalie and Wyatt Mabile, and Charlie and Adeline Zittrauer; and 5 siblings, Brenda Richard, Melissa R. Schexnayder, and Steve, David, and Troy Richard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and John Richard; mother-in-law, Lois Mabile; and father-in-law, Pierre Mabile Sr.

She spent her life helping everyone around her. She is remembered by so many families for her years teaching the many young children of Donaldsonville and the surrounding areas at her beloved Preschool, Kiddies Korner. Although she enjoyed creating stained glass, restoring furniture and sewing anything she could get her hands on, her favorite pastime was spent making things with her grandchildren. Her favorite weekends were spent fishing and boating at her Belle River camp or eating crabs, sitting with her toes in the sand at the Richard family camp in Holly Beach, LA.
