Richard "Big Ben" Joseph Blanchard

He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies, hunting, fishing and camping. He especially enjoyed hanging with his pals, Wild Bill and Foot.

He is survived by his two sons, Joshua Blanchard and Jace Blanchard (Breanna); six grandchildren, Landon, Artemis, Kinsley, Zeb, Kali and Kaylin; sister, Jan Mabile (Benson); two nieces, Tasha (Eric) and Scooter (Randi); and his nephew, Gavin (Julia).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalie and Ray Blanchard; and sister, Toni Klar.

The family would like to thank The Crossing in Baton Rouge for their care and compassion.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
