Ronald James Landry, 76, a native of Morgan City and resident of Napoleonville, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, sibling and friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping but most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Lorraine Rivere Landry; one daughter, Sandra Faye Landry Sons and husband, Patrick; three grandchildren, Karen Vedros (Charlie), Patrick Sons Jr. (Hope) and Ronald Sons (Angele); six great grandchildren, Brayden Sons, Shayne Sons, Emily Sons, Josie Sons, Finley Sons and Eleanor Sons; two sisters, Barbara Eues and Susanna Landry; three brothers, Leonard Landry, Michael Landry and Damon Landry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Eva Marie Gros Landry; grandparents, Louis and Lydia Landry and Volcar and Adele Gros; one brother, Leroy Landry and two sister, Velma Stephens and Alberta Landry. Pallbearers will be Karen Vedros, Patrick Sons Jr., Ronald Sons, Brayden Sons and Charlie Vedros. Due to current circumstances visitation for Ronald will be private.

Hi Frank Billiot I work with Captain Landry At MI Swaco I was his Mate and there was never a Dell moment with capt Landry working on the boat he work with-you have a control his crew he was a good captain and I appreciate everything he showed me about working with him side-by-side he was always Full of jokes He also showed me how to catch fish
