Velma loved to go dancing and visit with the many friends she made over the years. She could jitterbug and do the two step with perfection. Velma donated her life to her family and loved each and every one of them with all her heart.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her six children, Rhonda Zeringue (Leonard), Rachael Hardeman, Robyn Mitchell (Kevin Sr.), Wilson Cousin Jr. (Darlene), Chad Cousin, and Jeremy Cousin and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Cousin Sr.; two infant grandchildren; parents, Felix and Nellie Landry and her seven siblings, Steve Landry, William Landry, Cleve Landry, Clive Landry, Anna Belle Chedatol, Dorothy Landry, and Marina Aucoin.
A graveside service in her honor will be private.
