Waldon LeBlanc, Jr., resident of Napoleonville, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Assumption Community Hospital. He was 96 and a native of Donaldsonville. He was a retired Foreman with Louisiana Power and Light having served for 37 years. He was also a meter reader with Peoples Water Service. Waldon graduated from Donaldsonville High and also was a member of the Napoleonville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, firearms, and horses. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine “Chinka” Boudreaux (Achille), Mary Carol Waites, and Melanie Rhodes (Robert “Dusty”); son, Waldon C. “Butch” LeBlanc, III (Betty Jane); sisters, Frankie LeBlanc and Betty Robert; 5 grandchildren, Michelle, Dawn, Dennis, Jaclyn, and Mary "Katie"; 6 great grandchildren, Hunter, Sydney, Emily, Katie, Kelsie, and Xander; and 1 great great granddaughter, Layla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gaudin LeBlanc; parents, Waldon C. LeBlanc Sr. and Melanie Alminte Faucheaux LeBlanc; sisters, Alminte, Patsy, and Day; and a brother, Bob. Visitation will be at St. Anne Catholic Church, Napoleonville on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment to follow in the church mausoleum.
