

He worked in construction as a builder for many years. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with family enjoying every activity and sport with the grandkids.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona Dugas Simoneaux; daughter, Brooke Simoneaux Boudreaux (Kenny); son, Kiley James Simoneaux (Sabrina); three sisters, Donna McClendon, Trudy Albarado and Carla Alleman; five brothers, Glen, Mark, Clay Jr., Scott and Lance; three grandchildren, Carson Boudreaux, Trey Simoneaux and Kate Simoneaux; and mother-in-law, Mary Jane Dugas (LeBlanc) along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Gloria Monson Simoneaux; brother, Don Simoneaux; and father-in-law, Edwin Dugas.
The pallbearers will be Trey, Kate and Carson.
The family would like to thank all of his doctors, nurses, medical staff, home health, hospice and his wonderful caregivers. A very special thanks to his devoted family, caring friends and generous community.
A memorial visitation will be held on February 9, 2026 for 9:00 am until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church Mausoleum in Plattenville. Father Trey Nelson will officiate.
