Grace DeBoer

Born in Leeuwarden, Netherlands to Suffridus Kramer and Sybil DeVries. She married her wartime penpal, Hendrik “Henk” DeBoer on April 26, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Thys and Hinke DeBoer; Siep and Heye DeBoer and her brothers, George and Tom Kramer with Tom’s wife Yvonne. Her husband Henk DeBoer passed away on January 28, 2009.

Her siblings include: Margaret Kramer of Artesia, CA; Pete and Carol Kramer of Wayland, Michigan; Klaas and Trynie Felkers of Sneek, Netherlands.

Her children include: Sylvia DeGroot with her four children from Visalia, CA : Mike and Sharol with daughters, Karlee and Kolbi; Jeff and Becky with son Tyler and daughters Megan and Katelynn; Matthew and his wife, Kaitlin; and daughter Kathleen and Dan Murphy with daughter Leah of Novato, CA; Hennie and Steve Smock of Hollydale, CA with her children: Warren and Caryn Vander Laan with their daughter Stella and son Tate of Frisco, TX; Daughter Kari Vander Laan and husband PJ Mellana with their children PJ, Reagan and Cooper of LaHabra, CA; Vonne DeBoer from Bellflower, CA with son Daniel Hardin with wife Maria and their three children, Belinda, Justin and Ryan of Columbia, Missouri; Thys DeBoer with wife Barbara and his two children Grace and Thys Jr.; Frieda Brands with husband Greg of Aguanga, CA and their four children; Gerrit with wife Vicki and Baby Whitney due October 11 of Wildomar, CA; Sarah Smith with husband Taylor and son Nixon and baby Smith due in March 2017 of Brawley, CA; Rachel Wright with husband Burley and their son Wyatt and daughter Avery of Wildomar, CA and son Hendrik “Henk” Brands of Aguanga, CA; Stanley DeBoer of Wildomar, CA with daughters; Hannah and Jennifer. Grace is also survived by many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.
