I met James the our orientation class for 
VOPs in Dec of 2011. We served the city and shared common interests of service beyond self. I'll always remember his ability to speak many languages and his presence at event details we worked together. I enjoyed talking with him recently and express my condolences to the bereaved.

So sorry to hear of James' passing.  I also worked with him as VOP and he had a lot to offer having been a former police officer.
