Lillian M Davis

She married on January 3, 1942 to Charles Davis. Together they had five wonderful children, Nina, Debbie, Marvin, Ronnie & Mike. They attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Charleston.

In December of 1958, the Davis family moved from West Virginia to Maywood, California. Their first residential address was the Minnie Motel in Maywood. Shortly after they moved to California, Lil started attending the Maywood Church of the Nazarenes. For as long as we can remember, she was always involved in church.

Lil was a strong, feisty, hard-working, wonderful woman, mother, grandmother and friend. Ms. Lil, as many people called her... leaves behind her 5 children, as well has 7 grandchildren (Sheri, Kim, Harvey, Sunshine, Charles, Travis, & Mike) and 9 great-grandchildren (Toni, Ryan & Sarah, Hunter, Lindsey, Chase, Bailey, Amanda and little Sunshine).

We are all saddened by the loss of this great woman- who taught us to love unconditionally, work hard and be kind.
