January 29, 1992 – June 4, 2025
Raúl J. Dávila was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 29, 1992, to his loving parents, Mr. Raúl Dávila and Gloria A. Pescina. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Alexandra Dávila Bahena, and his two daughters: Claire Lauren Dávila, whom he loved unconditionally with all his heart, and his second daughter, Jade—a precious little seed whom he never had the chance to meet, but whom he always longed to love and hold close.
Raúl, affectionately known as “Raulito” by his family, was a joyful, playful, and curious child. He shared many happy moments with his cousins, and for a time, lived in Mexico with his mother and sister, where he perfected his Spanish and connected deeply with his cultural roots. During that time, he strengthened bonds with his extended family, always offering his affection and warmth.
Raúl had an intense, bold, and unique personality. His laugh was loud, deep, and contagious—the kind that could fill a room and make everyone around him laugh. He was the life of many gatherings, and his energy left a lasting impression. He was a good friend, a loyal son, a loving brother, and a devoted father. He deeply valued family and always sought to be there for those he loved.
From a young age, Raúl lived life passionately and in a hurry. He liked to live on the edge, do everything with intensity, and never halfway. He took pride in his personal style, loved European cars, colognes, and music—especially electronic (EDM), house music—and always found joy in dressing well and taking care of himself.
He loved being outdoors, hiking in the mountains, and going to the beach with his mom. One of his favorite memories was a trip to Oregon with his friends. He was also consistent with exercise, doing hundreds of push-ups daily, especially during gym sessions with his dad.
After graduating from Youth Academy Sunburst in Los Alamitos, Raúl explored various professional paths, including volunteering at the V.A. Hospital in Long Beach. He later focused on business and finance, working at institutions like Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and One West Bank. Through hard work and dedication, he earned banking certifications, was recognized as a Top Banker in his region, and later obtained his real estate license in 2020, guided by his aunt, Arcelia Pescina.
Raúl was a soul full of love, strength, and charisma. He was a tireless dreamer, a passionate fighter, and a man with a tremendous heart. His presence was felt, his voice remembered, and his laugh will forever echo in the memories of those who knew him. Like any human being, he experienced highs and lows, and he fought long and hard to manage the emotions tied to his deep melancholy and depression. With the support of his therapists, he worked to manage daily life and find his way back to joy and wholeness.
On June 4, 2025, Raúl left this world to rest in peace. His soul now rests in the eternal light and love he so deeply deserved. We hold on to his memory, his bright smile, his vibrant energy, and everything he shared with those who loved him.
Raulito will be remembered for his light, his noble heart, and his one-of-a-kind spirit. He will live on forever in the hearts of his family, his daughters, and all those whose lives he touched.
Rest in peace, dear Raúl. May your soul find the peace and the home it always searched for. Amen.
