War II, having served in the WAVES.
She married the one and only love of her life April 10, 1948. She stood by him in sickness and in health. They never had the richer part but she was very happy with her love. He passed away much too soon on December 18, 1979
Ruth was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her family was always her highest priority.
She was a loving and generous person, a woman fiercely devoted to family and a woman of great faith. Her unselfish example, her laughter and her loving nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Pat Stevens (Clara), Tom Stevens (Vicki) and Lorraine (Robert) Lewellen She also is survived by her 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great-grandchildren. Thanks to blended families, that number goes to 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. All loved. All cherished.
She was preceded in death by her son Jim and her husband Arthur
