It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne Evelyn Smith in her 102nd year. Anne is pre-deceased by her loving husband Robert (1996), and her sisters Catherine Lingen of Waterdown and Dorothy Mather of Toronto. She will be lovingly remembered by her children David (Joan), Douglas (Karen), Dennis (Luisa), and Brian (Sandra). Proud grandma to Andrew, Mark, Adam, Sarah, Alex, Chiara, Trevor, Daniel and great grandma to Landon, Noah, Adrian, Xavier, and Massimo. Anne will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to all the staff at Grandview Retirement Residence, for their support and compassion throughout Anne’s one year stay at the residence
A private funeral service and burial will take place, as per Anne and family’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, or Hamilton SPCA.
