It is with heavy hearts the we announce Ben’s passing on March 26, 2012 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Deanna. Loving father of Catherine (Steve) and John (Julie), proud grandfather of Nicole, and dear brother of Herb (Betty). Ben will be missed by his many friends and family members. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and came to Canada in 1951. He was a longtime resident of Dundas, retired from Stelco after 27 years of service and a former member of the Dundas Tennis and Badminton Club. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital for their support and care. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Wednesday, March 28 from 3-6pm and on Thursday, March 29 from 12-2pm. A funeral service will be held in the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL on Thursday, March 29 at 2pm. Cremation to follow.
