

Betty was born on Dec. 5 1928 in Hamilton. She was a proud 40-year employee of the Hamilton Automobile Club, and a long time member of the Faith Lutheran Church, now known as the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Betty was predeceased by her parents William and Lily FALLIS; her brother Bill Jr. (Nancy); her Niece Dale McLean (Dan); her nephew Gerald FALLIS; and her brother-in-law John Knott.
She is survived by her sister Velma Knott and by nieces and nephews including Erin McLean, Cody Duggan, Tyler Duggan, Andrew McLean (Marissa), David Knott, Diane Knott, and Michael Knott. Betty was especially dear to Erin, Tyler and Cody and will be fondly remembered by members of the extended Duggan family.
For many years Betty was a loving companion to her dear friend Al Oakie. Her unwavering support, gentle humour and generosity of spirit will be especially missed by her Oakie family, including Al’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family extends deepest thanks to Miriam for the kindness she showed caring for Betty in her final years.
Betty’s life was a testament to the power of kindness. Whether she was caring for family, supporting friends, or lending her time to those in need, she was always willing to help others.
Betty will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 27 at Marlatt Funeral Home, Swackhammer Chapel in Dundas. Visitation begins at 11:00 with funeral services at 1:00pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
