Aunt Dorothy, Kurt & Marnin,
I think of you all and of Uncle Carl every day.
I will remember his laugh most of all, and the holidays we spent together as family.
I'm giving you all a "virtual hug" and look forward to when I can deliver it in person.

Ken, Dona, Wayne, Asta, Danny - I'm really sorry to read of Carl's accident and death. He was a most interesting and friendly man. i'm sure he will be greatly missed.

We are very saddened to hear of your loss of such a special and important person in your lives. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great sorrow. Dorothy, Had heard Carl was ill but saddened to hear of his passing.  Delores and I want to share your grief and we will do our best to join you in the celebration on May 15.  I took the liberty of forwarding the notice I received from Mac to Alex Kretchman, an old friend of Carl's  when they lived in the Soo and  were beginning teachers who shared their Lutheran heritage.
