She is predeceased by her husband William Cooper, her parents Samuel and Catherine Cameron, and her sisters Janet (Bill) and Helen (Grant). Cherished aunt to Cameron (Jennifer) and Grandma Cay to Walker and Matthew.
Cay married Bill Cooper in 1967. They enjoyed a wonderful life of travel around the world, summers at the cottage and winters in Florida. She loved being “Grandma Cay” for Walker and Matthew loved to watch them play hockey and baseball. She will be deeply missed.
Cay spent the final chapter of her life near her family in Dundas. Enough cannot be said for the wonderful care, compassion and friendship she had from her caregivers Ruth, Tess, Girlie, Marty, Marie and Marife loved and cared for Cay as family.
Also, thanks to the staff on Oak Lane at Wentworth Lodge who gave her care, compassion and dignity in her final years.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
