Catherine Morrell Morrison Rush

Born August 14, 1940 in Glasgow Scotland.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Mount Nemo Nursing Home, in her 82nd year.

Beloved Wife for 59 years of Gerry Rush. Loving and devoted Mom of Gerald (Lanette), Karen (Patrick) Malleret, Wendy (Stephen) Laws and Michael (Nicole). Beloved Grandma of Caitlin, Ian, Jack, George, Ewan, Isla, Kalianna, Makayla, Ella and Zakary. Cherished Sister-in-law of Linda and Sam Mahon. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew, Liane, Kyla, Mandy and Mark, as well as many family and friends, both in Canada and in the UK. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Isa Brown, her sister Diane and her granddaughter Meghan.

Special thanks to the staff at Mount Nemo, for their loving care.

The family will receive friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, SWACKHAMER CHAPEL, 195 King St. West, Dundas, ON, on Thursday, March 10th, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am. Cremation to follow.

In memory of Rena, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
