Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the age of 98. She is reunited with her beloved husband, John (2004). Loving mother of Paul (Chris) of Hamilton and Jane of Abington, PA. Cherished and loving grandmother of Rachel (Tim) of Guelph, Matthew (Laurie) of Toronto, Laura (Joel) of Toronto, Solomon (Lauri) of WI and Elena (Chris) of PA. Proud great-grandmother of Nathan, Grace and Joseph Glen, Marie and Holly Robertson, Eli and Jude Black, Emma Jane Sicuranza and Silas Shockman. Eileen enjoyed many years volunteering at the McMaster Medical Centre and the Royal Botanical Gardens, was an avid gardener and equestrian rider. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
